I’ve had the honor of attending four weddings this year. The theme of the latest one, I must say, was probably the best.

YES, there were dinosaurs EVERYWHERE! My friend Abby (and I suspect her new husband but I unfortunately don’t know him very well) is obsessed with birds and dinosaurs, ergo, the dinosaur theme.
So, how does this tie into making? On each table there was placed at least one terrarium, like the one below:

The mother of the bride informed me that she easily made each of the terrariums (about 10) by hand. The containers and the mini-toy dinosaurs were the only thing she bought (if you have access to a 3D printer, you may not even have to do that!). The terrariums were made using:
1. Glass containers: http://amzn.to/1gCXZa7
2. Toy dinosaurs: http://amzn.to/1IdW4kU
3. Dirt
4. Grass
(I’m pretty sure the dirt and grass were from her backyard, but fake plants can also be cheaply purchased)

Here’s a comic that another wedding attendee created about the wedding: http://patbird.galesaur.com/20150730/everybody-do-the/
